Data copy / transfer
What is data copy?
It’s a task to copy (back up) the data from a storage device which runs as normal as it should be to the customer’s media (such as external HDD, USB memory).
What is data transfer?
It’s a task to save the data which once copied to the appropriate location (such as the Document folder, Picture folder, Desktop).
After the data transfer, we will apply separate extra fee if the customer requires the data to import to the region (folder) of specific software (email software, iTunes, postcard creation software).

※In the case of trouble, it takes above rate + Diagnostic rate ¥4,400 is added.
Key assumption is the storage device is running normally. Our engineer copies your data to your own media (external HDD, USB memory, free space of PC). In the case of transferring specific copied data to another PC’s specific folder (picture, document, desktop), it is treated as Data Transfer.
Data recovery
What is data recovery?
It is a task to save the data using special software designed for data rescue. According the magnitude of seriousness of the trouble, we may copy the data once to our own media, and then retransfer the data to the customer’s media such as external HDD, USB memory.

Base rate + Data restoration diagnostic rate + the rate(s)
Since the work assumes the media has a trouble, we will charge data restoration diagnostic fee of ¥7,700
In case of the serious mechanical trouble including the damages with the mainboard, magnetic head of HDD or spindle motor, we’ll develop the quote to ask the customer’s acceptance.
The quote can be higher than ¥110,000 because we will send the media to a data restoration specialist for diagnosis.

*1. Quantity of data means a total of the data that is actually copied and transferred.
*2. Only in case of USB memory or SD card, the fee applies.
*3. In case of the file format other than NTFS、FAT32、exFAT、HFS+、APFS、HFHS+、ext2/ ext3/ext4/xfs, ask for our quote. We will review the charge as well as the data rescue is feasible.
*4. In case of destroying a device, the HDD disassemble and assemble is not applied (\0).
